Vietnam & Cambodia - 7D 6N Great Indo-China Odyssey

Day 1 – Arrive Ho Chi Minh City (D): Upon arrival, visit the popular Ben Thanh Market, where anything and everything is for sale.  Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese Water Puppet Show before dinner, then check into hotel.

Day 2 – Ho Chi Minh City – Siem Reap (B L D): Today, embark on a Ho Chi Minh City tour. Still called Saigon by many locals, this is a principal centre of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. You will pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before exploring the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close nearby are some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, People’s Committee Hall and the Old Saigon Post Office. This is followed by a visit to the fascinating War Remnants Museum. Later, fly to Siem Reap (Cambodia) for overnight. Upon arrival, enjoy a buffet dinner accompanied by a traditional Aspara performance.

Day 3 – Siem Reap (B L D): Full day excursion to Angkor, the largest Hindu-Buddhist temple complex in the worls. Visit The South Gate of Ankor Thom, Baphoun, the Elephant and Leper King Terrace, Phimeanakas and Ta Prohm. After lunch continue to visit Chao Say Devoda, Thommanan, Banteay Kdey, Srah Srong and Angkor Wat – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy a spectacular sunset view of Angkor from Phnom Bakheng Hill before proceeding for dinner.

Day 4 – Siem Reap – Hanoi (B L D): In the morning, visit L’es Artisan D’angkor, an excellent craft workshop, followed by shopping at Siam Reap Old Market. After lunch, visit the Cambodian Cultural Village. Transfer to the airport for flight to Hanoi.

Day 5 – Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (B L D): Drive to the spectacular World Heritage Site of Halong Bay for an overnight cruise (weather permitting), with a visit to Vung Vieng fishing village. There is plenty of time to join in the cruise activities, including sea kayaking and swimming. Dinner served on board.

Day 6 – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B L D): In the morning,enjoy sunrise over the bay, followed by a (non-compulsory) T’ai Chi class on board. After brunch, embark on a Bai Tu Long Islands Cruise visiting some of the most spectacular caves and grottoes (lunch on board). Return to Hanoi for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – Depart Hanoi (B L): Embark on a fascinating city tour of Hanoi which includes Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Museum,the One-Pillar Pagoda, designed to resemble a lotus blossom rising out of a sea of sorrow, and the Temple of Literature which is dedicated to Confucius and honours scholars and men of literary accomplishment.Visit Hanoi’s traditional 36 Ancient Streets district by cyclo, the local name for a bicycle rickshaw. After lunch, transfer to airport for departure flight.

Note: In adverse weather conditions, the overnight cruise through Halong bay will be substituted with a night in a Hanoi hotel, followed by a day cruise the following day.

Cambodia - 5D - 4N Siem Reap & Phnom Penh

Day 1 – Arrival – Siem Reap (D): Arrive at Siem Reap airport, transfer and check in at hotel. In the afternoon visit Les Artisan D’ Angkor, a handicraft center for wood and stone carving. Borobudur Temple

Day 1 – Arrival – Prambanan (L D): Arrive at Yogyakarta International Airport by morning flight, meet & greet with your English-speaking guide. Nepal - 8D 6N Nepal Panorama

Day 1 – Kuala Lumpur – Kathmandu (L D): Meet and greet at airport. After lunch, proceed for city tour which includes visits to Kathmandu Durbar Square (Kumari Temple). Known as the Gateway of Hanuman, it consists of a huge royal square enclosing a variety of temples. This is followed by a visit to Swyambunath Stupa, one of the most popular and recognizable symbols of Nepal. The temple is also known as the monkey temple after the large tribe of monkeys which guard the hill.

Day 2 – Kathmandu – Chitwan (B L D): Early morning transfer to Chitwan. Upon arrival, check into hotel. Take an adventurous jungle walk at Chitwan Royal National Park, widely acknowledged as one of the best National Parks in Asia and the oldest in Nepal. This 1,000 sq km of forest and grassland is home to a rich variety of mammals such as the one-horned rhinoceros, the royal Bengal tiger, the leopard, the sloth bear, the sambur and many more. Enjoy a local stick dance performance.

Day 3 – Chitwan – Elephant Tour (B L D): Safari tour with elephant ride into the jungle. Watch the playful elephants bathing on the stream and view majestic wild life in the jungle. Enjoy a canoe ride along Budi Rapti River.

Day 4 – Chitwan – Pokhara (B L D): Proceed to Pokhara Valley, the “Dreamland” of Nepal. Visit Davis Fall, known locally as Hell’s Fall. It derives its source from water that flows out at the south end of Phewa Lake into the Pardi Khola, a stream which disappears suddenly into a hole. Continue visit to Tibetan Refugee Camp, where refugees sell jewellery and souvenirs. The camp also offers excellent views of the Annapurna range of the Himalayas.

Day 5 – Pokhara – Kathmandu (B L D): Catch the marvelous sunrise at Sarangkot, a high point (1590m) on the ridge north of Phewa Tal, and by far the most popular of Pokhara’s mountain viewpoints. Take a gondola ride to the Barahi Temple on Phewa Lake. Free for shopping at Lakeside. Flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival, visit Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa (known as Little Tibet). Check into hotel. Enjoy a typical Nepalese dinner with cultural performance.

Day 6 – Kathmandu – Nagarkot (B L D): Experience the adventurous Mountain Flight (optional at own expense) or a sightseeing tour of Patan City and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. After lunch, drive to Nagarkot. Indulge in the spectacular view of Mt. Everest and the Himalayas at sunset.

Day 3 – Pattaya(B L D): After breakfast, visit the coral island of Koh Larn by speedboat. You may enjoy swimming, snorkelling water-skiing, banana boat ride (at own expense and risk). After a barbecue lunch, visit Wat Yangsawararam and the Wax Museum, continue to Silver Lake Grape Farm, then visit Chee Chan Valley to view the 130m high Buddha image etched into the rock face. Finally, visit Nong Nooch Village for the world-famous elephant show and a Thai cultural performance etc. Return to hotel with dinner en route at a local restaurant.

Day 4 – Pattaya – Bangkok (B L D): After breakfast and a brief stop at the local market to buy dried seafood products, return to Bangkok to visit Safari World and Marine Park, Thailand’s top wild animal attraction. After a buffet lunch at Safari World, visit the Erawan Shrine and view the statue of the 4-faced Brahma God Tan Tao Mahaprom. Dinner en route at a local restaurant. Transfer to hotel for check-in.

Thailand - 4D 3N Phuket

Day 1 – Arrival – Phuket Island Tour (D): Upon arrival, proceed for a Phuket Island Tour, visiting Wat Chalong (Phuket’s most revered monastery), the Sea Gypsy Village on Rawaii Beach, and Phimthep Cape Viewing Point for, the beautiful views of the Andaman Sea and the striking sunset. Stop for shopping at a cashew nut factory, a T-shirt factory and a jewellery shop. Then check-in and have dinner at local restaurant.

Day 2 – Phuket – Phang Nga (James Bond Island) (B L D): Transfer to the jetty and take a long-tail boat for sightseeing around the Phang Nga Bay National Park, viewing spectacular Limestone Cliffs, Tam Lod (Limestone Cave), Khao Ma Joo (Dog Island), Khao Chang (Elephant Island), Khao Ping Gun (James Bond Island, the location for  “The Man With Golden Gun”). Lunch at a Muslim village on Panyi Island before long-tail boat transfer back to hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 – Phuket – Phi Phi Leh – Phi Phi Don Island Cruise (B L D): Take a cruise to Phi Phi Island, with free snacks and (non-alcoholic) beverages on board. View Maya Bay where the Hollywood movie “The Beach” was filmed, Loh Sama Bay, Pileh Bay, the Viking Cave (Birds Nest Cave) with its historic 19th century murals, and enjoy snorkelling (free, with snorkel and mask) at Coral Bay. Lunch at Phi Phi Don Island, followed by more snorkelling or relaxing until the return cruise to Phuket island. Transfer back to hotel and have dinner at a local restaurant.

Vietnam & Cambodia - 7D 6N Great Indo-China Odyssey

Day 1 – Arrive Ho Chi Minh City (D): Upon arrival, visit the popular Ben Thanh Market, where anything and everything is for sale.  Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese Water Puppet Show before dinner, then check into hotel.

Day 2 – Ho Chi Minh City – Siem Reap (B L D): Today, embark on a Ho Chi Minh City tour. Still called Saigon by many locals, this is a principal centre of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. You will pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before exploring the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close nearby are some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, People’s Committee Hall and the Old Saigon Post Office. This is followed by a visit to the fascinating War Remnants Museum. Later, fly to Siem Reap (Cambodia) for overnight. Upon arrival, enjoy a buffet dinner accompanied by a traditional Aspara performance.

Day 3 – Siem Reap (B L D): Full day excursion to Angkor, the largest Hindu-Buddhist temple complex in the worls. Visit The South Gate of Ankor Thom, Baphoun, the Elephant and Leper King Terrace, Phimeanakas and Ta Prohm. After lunch continue to visit Chao Say Devoda, Thommanan, Banteay Kdey, Srah Srong and Angkor Wat – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy a spectacular sunset view of Angkor from Phnom Bakheng Hill before proceeding for dinner.

Day 4 – Siem Reap – Hanoi (B L D): In the morning, visit L’es Artisan D’angkor, an excellent craft workshop, followed by shopping at Siam Reap Old Market. After lunch, visit the Cambodian Cultural Village. Transfer to the airport for flight to Hanoi.

Day 5 – Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (B L D): Drive to the spectacular World Heritage Site of Halong Bay for an overnight cruise (weather permitting), with a visit to Vung Vieng fishing village. There is plenty of time to join in the cruise activities, including sea kayaking and swimming. Dinner served on board.

Day 6 – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B L D): In the morning,enjoy sunrise over the bay, followed by a (non-compulsory) T’ai Chi class on board. After brunch, embark on a Bai Tu Long Islands Cruise visiting some of the most spectacular caves and grottoes (lunch on board). Return to Hanoi for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – Depart Hanoi (B L): Embark on a fascinating city tour of Hanoi which includes Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Museum,the One-Pillar Pagoda, designed to resemble a lotus blossom rising out of a sea of sorrow, and the Temple of Literature which is dedicated to Confucius and honours scholars and men of literary accomplishment.Visit Hanoi’s traditional 36 Ancient Streets district by cyclo, the local name for a bicycle rickshaw. After lunch, transfer to airport for departure flight.

Note: In adverse weather conditions, the overnight cruise through Halong bay will be substituted with a night in a Hanoi hotel, followed by a day cruise the following day.
